Croatia is becoming increasingly popular as a tourist and holiday destination, and it is often found on the top of travelers bucket lists. Croatia can not compare with major tourism powers like France or Italy, but a trend of increasing numbers of tourist arrivals (2012 – 11.8 million / 2016 – 16.3 million) witnesses its growing popularity. Croatia has so much to offer, and although it became very popular and visited, it still has so many amazing hidden places for those in search of a relaxing vacation, even without the crowds and queues. Stunning well-preserved Roman ruins, medieval towns, and castles, eight National parks, more than 1200 islands with endless pebble and sand beaches, caves and coves, spectacular events and much, much more. We hope one of these photos will inspire you to plan your next adventure in Croatia.
