Microsoft’s major portal published a list of “Top 15 Best Island Vacations in the Whole Entire World” and of course the list wouldn’t be full without the amazing Croatian islands. Croatia has, as some may already know, more than 1100 islands, rocks and reefs and they cover a total area of around 3300 km2 (1,300 sq mi). 48 islands are inhabited and 670 are uninhabited, the rest are islets, rocks and reefs. So if Croatia is your this year’s choice for vacation it will be very hard to decide which of these incredible islands to visit first.
This is how they describe Croatia as a top summer hotspot: “Drawing in travelers with breathtaking coastal views, lively ports and a thriving nightlife, the Dalmatian Coast was a well-kept secret not long ago. Once a low-key getaway for those in-the-know, it is now a top summer travel hotspot. Sailing and yachting is top-notch, the nightlife is buzzing and the coastline is among the best in Europe.”
